Terms of Service

Last updated July 17, 2026. By using ProjectMind you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ProjectMind, including the website, application, API, and MCP server (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. The service

ProjectMind provides a context and long-term memory layer for LLM applications, including storage, semantic retrieval, and tool access through an MCP endpoint and API. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, and MCP keys, and for all activity that occurs under them. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Keys such as imk_ (project) and imgk_ (global) grant programmatic access and must be protected like passwords.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service to violate any law or infringe others’ rights.
  • Do not upload content you are not authorized to store or process.
  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access other tenants’ data, or disrupt the Service.
  • Do not abuse rate limits or use the API/MCP endpoints to overload the platform.

5. API and MCP usage

Access to the API and MCP server is provided subject to these Terms and any documented limits. You are responsible for the requests you make and the content you send. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke keys that we reasonably believe are being misused or that threaten the security or stability of the Service.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us the limited rights necessary to store, process, index, and return that content to you in order to operate the Service (for example, generating embeddings for retrieval). You are responsible for having the rights to the content you submit.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by ProjectMind and its licensors. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that retrieval results will be complete or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProjectMind will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
